What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crematory Operator position at Serenity Memorial Group?
Looking to hire a Crematory Operator. The Crematory Operator will assist with the general tasks of the Crematory and help make a difference for our families by helping with the identification process, logging and procedures and cremation of decedents. For Arizona Cremationist License, Pay Will Depend on Experience.
Duties will also include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate record keeping of daily cremations, work orders, cremation identification cards/tags for caskets and deceased and crematory release check list forms.
- Assisting in cleaning and maintaining crematory, and complying with all safety and legal regulations.
Requirements:
- One year general mortuary and/or crematory experience preferred. Arizona Cremationist License preferred.
- The ability to lift 100lbs.
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision and have excellent customer service skills and be extremely detail oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
