Role Overview:
The Radiology Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures to assist physicians in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiology exams in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of exams
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for timely, accurate diagnoses
- Operate, monitor, and maintain radiology equipment
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Current state Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- 1 year of clinical radiology experience preferred
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
