As a CT Technologist, you'll play an important role in helping physicians diagnose conditions and determine appropriate treatment. You'll perform computed tomography examinations, collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, and help ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

What You'll Be Doing

As a CT Technologist, you'll help physicians get the diagnostic information they need while ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and well cared for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing diagnostic CT scans according to established imaging protocols.

• Preparing and positioning patients to obtain accurate, high-quality images.

• Explaining procedures, answering questions, and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their examinations.

• Following radiation safety practices and established patient identification procedures.

• Administering contrast media when authorized and appropriately monitoring patients for adverse reactions.

• Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Documenting procedures and maintaining accurate imaging records through PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record systems.

• Maintaining imaging quality standards and identifying equipment issues when they arise.

• Following applicable regulatory requirements, department policies, and professional standards.

• Contributing to a team culture focused on safety, communication, and excellent patient care.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a CT Technologist who combines strong technical skills with a thoughtful, patient-first approach.

Required qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification with the CT credential (ARRT-CT), as required for the position.

• Ability to meet applicable Illinois licensing and employment requirements.

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to imaging quality and radiation safety.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative hospital team.

Experience that would be a plus:

• One or more years of CT Technologist experience.

• Previous hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging experience.

• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record systems.
