Janitorial Cleaning Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Handle floor care tasks such as buffing and waxing as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Assist with industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs observed during cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning assignments are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment for various surfaces and tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Experience in floor care techniques including buffing is advantageous.
• Knowledge of residential painting or porter experience can enhance your application.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated time frames.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
