Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as the Clinical Director and founding clinical leader of a new ABA therapy center opening in Troy, Michigan. This is a rare opportunity for a BCBA to help build and shape a center from the ground up while earning ownership equity in the organization.
The Clinical Director will lead the development of clinical programming, supervise clinical staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy services for young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. The role combines clinical leadership, program development, and operational collaboration with ownership participation in the center’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Serve as the lead BCBA and Clinical Director for a new ABA therapy center.
- Supervise BCBAs, RBTs, therapists, and support staff to ensure adherence to best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to maintain high standards of therapy delivery.
Program Development
- Help design and implement the clinical structure, treatment model, and therapy protocols for the new center.
- Establish data-driven treatment systems, staff training programs, and quality assurance procedures.
- Assist in building a collaborative clinical culture focused on positive outcomes for children and families.
Assessments & Treatment Planning
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and intake evaluations for children with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based ABA practices.
- Monitor treatment progress through consistent data analysis and program adjustments.
Clinical Operations
- Oversee the intake process, therapy scheduling, and clinical workflow within the center.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation and medical records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, insurance documentation requirements, and ethical standards.
Family & Community Collaboration
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary providers including speech and occupational therapists.
- Provide parent training and education to support progress outside the therapy setting.
- Represent the center within the community and help establish strong referral relationships.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities
- Strong expertise in ABA treatment design, behavioral assessment, and data collection
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in an ABA clinic or behavioral health program preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA, clinical documentation, and insurance compliance
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
