What are the responsibilities and job description for the Make a difference! Looking for caring people to make a hospice patient smile! position at Serenity Hospice Care?
Serenity Hospice Care has locations all over NJ, in facilities and in their homes. Some locations are Tinton Falls, Brick, Freehold, Newark, Lakewood, Toms River, East Orange, Hammonton, Galloway and others!
We will work with you, we value your time and will work around your time schedule and location preferances. Are you a caring person that is willing to give some time to patients by having conversations, watching TV, reading, giving a gentle touch or sharing a peaceful moment? We need you!
The volunteer experience is just as rewarding for you as it is the patient!!!
Bring a smile or a moment of peace to a patient in need!
If Direct Patient volunteering is not what you are interested in, then how about administrative assistance in our office??? We are looking for people to help us with clerical duties such as Filing, Phones, Mailers, Promotional Information and other very impotant tasks that contribute to our patients well being!

You do not need any experience, we will teach you everything you need to know. We need volunteers to give companionship, read, watch TV, talk, listen, it all makes a difference. If you have special talents such as Pet Therapy, Music, Art, Knitting, that is always appreciated as well!!!
We will work together to make the most out of the time you have to offer. No amount of time is too little... We appreciate anything you can offer.
There are Two different types of volunteers
Administrative Volunteers
Various Office Duties including filing, phone work, supply organization etc...(Located at 1670 Whitehorse Hamilton Square Road Hamilton, NJ 08690)
Direct Patient Volunteers (Various Locations throughout NJ)
Visit patients in facilities. Offer companionship by simply listening, talking, reading or watching TV. If you would like to share your special talents such as Pet Therapy, Music, Art, knitting that would be greatly appreciated as well!!! We reimburse you for all travel time!!
Our Volunteers are part of our family! We will be there for you every step of the way to support you and assist you. We want you to be happy and successful! Volunteering with Serenity Hospice Care will sure to be equally as rewarding for you as it will be for the patient!!!
