We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and expand our service reach. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development within the healthcare sector, with expertise in strategic planning, sales, and customer relationship management. Responsibilities
- Attend Weekly Management Meetings, create Strategic Marketing Plans for Growth, develop new business relationships
- Seek, develop and participate in marketing opportunities and networking events in the community. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with ALC liaisons, healthcare professionals, potential referral sources, and others.
- Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with Long Term Care Professionals to obtain referrals
- Supervise, coach and mentor members of marketing department
- Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty
- Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction and to maintain the company’s reputation
- Directs all daily marketing operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Assures that staff understand and adheres to all laws, statutes, and regulations regarding anti-kickback, lawful marketing activities (gifts and services), patient solicitation, and accurate marketing materials.
- Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.
- Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections. Builds and monitors community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of ALC as a high-quality provider of services.
- Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of our healthcare markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing those resources should services not be provided by ALC. Monitors and reports cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Demonstrate consistency in achieving census goals by monitoring and assessing the progress and development of each marketer. Prompt attention and action to any gap in performance to budgeted expectations and barriers related to these gaps.
- Growing a profitable business and developing all members of the sales force into high performing sales consultants through motivation, constructive feedback, and recognition.
- Help develop new ideas, protocols, and efficiencies for maximizing marketing resources to grow market share.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development within the healthcare or home health care industry.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or equivalent platforms.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, sales growth, and negotiation processes.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of customer relationship management principles and marketing strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
