Behavioral Health Therapist (Unique Schedule)

Serenity Grove provides substance use disorder treatment and psychiatric services to residential clients located in Athens, GA. Our program is dedicated to offering comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals struggling with substance us disorders, mood disorders, thought disorders, and trauma. Our mission is to offer a comprehensive approach to mental wellness, combining various therapies, medication stabilization, life skills training, and a diverse range of holistic modalities.

Responsibilities:

• Must be a Georgia licensed Master's level Therapist
• Provide group and family therapy for Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Mental Health Programs for adults.
• Demonstrate a high level of clinical skill in assessing needs of clients and determining appropriate interventions.
• Utilize EMR for all clinical documentation and ensure HIPAA-compliant communication.
• Serve as liaison with families and outpatient providers.
• Complete and update treatment plans and crisis plans.
• Maintain charting requirements.
• Comply with all facility policies and health and safety standards.
• Maintain positive and professional conduct with staff and patients.
• Demonstrate effective verbal crisis intervention and de-escalation, involving other staff as needed.
• Attend daily team meetings and collaborate with members of the treatment team.
• Attend supervision sessions with Clinical Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Minimum of masters degree required.
