Nursing Scheduler Staffing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Nursing Scheduler Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Serenity Estates of Lincolnshire. Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and CNAs, to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet the needs of our residents
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff assignments, absences, and vacations
Develop and implement staffing schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize overtime
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to identify and address staffing needs and concerns
Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, ensuring prompt and effective communication
Investigate and resolve conflicts and issues related to staffing and scheduling
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve resident care and satisfaction
Requirements:
2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Illinois state certified Nursing Assistant
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Willing to assist on the unit as a C NA when able.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
CPR certification
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, human resources) preferred
