Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on weekends, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the department
Collabrate with scheduler to ensure staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and staffing levels
Collaborate with the nurse manager to establish departmental goals, objectives, and policies
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of respect, teamwork, and open communication
Conduct regular rounding to ensure effective care delivery and identify areas for improvement
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and statistics
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a long-term care setting
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
