Responsibilities
On Call for emergencies, admissions, and residents assessments.
- Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance clinical operations and patient care quality.
- Oversee staffing schedules, personnel management, and staff supervision to maintain a motivated and high-performing nursing team.
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure organizational budget adherence to optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards across nursing practices.
- Provide instructional leadership by mentoring nursing staff, facilitating ongoing education, and promoting professional development opportunities.
- Lead efforts in quality assurance, patient safety initiatives, and process improvements to elevate care standards.
- Collaborate with administrative directors or educational leaders to align healthcare services with institutional goals and policies.
- Support recruitment efforts for nursing personnel, participate in interviews, and assist in onboarding new team members.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and conflict resolution strategies.
Skills
- Proven expertise in strategic planning and organizational management within healthcare or educational settings.
- Strong background in budgeting, financial oversight, and resource management aligned with organizational goals.
- In-depth knowledge of state-specific education laws applicable to healthcare training programs or school health services.
- Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience as a school administrative director or in educational leadership roles related to health services is highly desirable.

- Skilled in personnel management within educational or healthcare institutions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
