Summary

The Care Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation and management of ' childcare and family support services. This role ensures that high-quality care and services are provided to clients, aligning with the company’s mission to support working parents and families. As a coordinator, you will liaise with caregivers, clients, and management to maintain the standards that make us a trusted partner to over 1,000 leading employees.

  • Maintain Serengeti Care Partner's Mission, Vision, and Values by establishing and maintaining trusting partnerships with stakeholders, providing enhanced support services, and embracing the organization's guiding principles.
  • Assist in managing the daily operations of ' childcare and family support services.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for parents, caregivers, and families, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and staff to ensure seamless service delivery and consistent, highquality care.
  • Ensure that all safety standards, state and federal regulations, and company protocols are always adhered to.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supporting caregivers, ensuring they have the resources and skills needed to deliver excellent service.
  • Regularly assess the quality of service provided, gather feedback from clients and staff, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication between management, staff, and clients, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records for all clients, employees, and regulatory bodies. Assist with payroll, scheduling, and other operational tasks.
  • Support the development and implementation of new childcare, elder care, or educational programs as needed.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, respect, and teamwork among branch staff.

Other Duties:

  • Performs other duties as necessary or as assigned by leadership to support the overall financial health and goals of the company.

Qualifications:

The requirements below represent the language, math, reasoning, and technical abilities required for the position.

  • Language: Intermediate ability to effectively communicate with others; read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents, correspondences, and memos.
  • Math: Intermediate math reasoning skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, calculate figures, and count money.
  • Reasoning: High Skill ability to reason with logic, solve practical problems, and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Technical Aptitude: High skill and ability to train in various systems and office equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Working Environment and Physical Requirements:

The work environment characteristics described represent those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment, with exposure to fluctuating temperatures, moderate noise levels, cleaning chemicals, airborne particles, and occasional outside fluctuating weather conditions.

  • Ability to see color and have clear vision at 20 inches or less.
  • Ability to regularly sit, utilize hands and fingers, reach (with arms), talk, hear, stand, lift, push, pull, perform repetitive tasks, work around moderate noise levels safely, and conscientiously carry at least 50 pounds without assistance, adhering to safety and lifting protocols.
  • Ability to frequently balance, kneel, climb, stoop, and crouch.

Education/Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 23 years of experience in childcare, elder care, or a related field, preferably in a supervisory or coordinator role.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with learning new software systems.
  • Familiarity with childcare, elder care, and educational service regulations and standards.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate and highquality care for families and employees.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and support a team of caregivers and educators.
  • Precision in handling client records, compliance documentation, and daily operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
  • Exceptional problemsolving abilities, professional discernment, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Passion, professionalism, and a positive attitude that aligns with Serengeti Care’s core values.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting.

Schedule:

  • Hours may fluctuate depending on organizational needs. Corporate office hours are MondayFriday. Occasional overtime (OT) may be required.
