Our veterinarians help families say goodbye in the comfort of home, offering calm guidance, expert care, and a peaceful experience during one of the most tender moments in a pet owner’s life.
Serene Passages was founded by Dr. Nicole Beeman-Stanclift to support pets, families, and veterinarians seeking a more compassionate alternative to traditional end-of-life care.
Dr. Nicole has over a decade of experience in end-of-life care and has trained many veterinarians in this specialized work. Our team is close-knit, collaborative, and built around kindness, trust, and deeply meaningful care.
As a Serene Passages veterinarian, you will:
- Provide compassionate in-home euthanasia and end-of-life care
- Support families with warmth, patience, and excellent bedside manner
- Use your clinical judgment in each unique home setting
- Communicate with our reception and support team in a timely manner
- Travel within defined service regions
- Complete minimal charting within 24 hours
- Facilitate respectful aftercare, with assistance available for larger pets
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Are compassionate, grounded, and emotionally intuitive
- Understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy
- Can support families with grace, patience, and without judgment
- Are comfortable giving clients the time they need to say goodbye
- Remain calm and persistent with challenging IV patients
- Enjoy independent work and time driving between appointments
- Are comfortable working in changing home environments
- Value working with a small, veterinarian-led business
We are looking for veterinarians who can provide 1–2 consistent days per week.
Shifts are 8-10 hours and take place during our regular service hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, seven days per week.
Additional details:
- No required holidays
- No after-hours shifts
- Travel is required, within our service areas
- Weekend availability is preferred
This is a commission-based position with excellent earning potential.

Please send your resume and cover letter.
We would love to hear what draws you to end-of-life care and what kind of consistent weekly schedule would work best for you.
