We are a growing private practice seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Counselor with a Limited Permit (MHC-LP) in New York State. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain clinical experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. Graduate students who will be completing their Master’s this spring or summer are also encouraged to apply (position would be as an internship).
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field
- Active Limited Permit (MHC-LP) in New York State
- Strong interest in providing individual psychotherapy to a diverse client population
- Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling to clients under clinical supervision
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Attend weekly supervision meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues to support best clinical practices
