What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Systems Analyst position at Serco North America?
The Financial Systems Analyst will develop cost models, cost estimates and spend plans in support of a wide range of end products.
- Develop, present and defend cost estimates through various cost agencies (i.e. Air Force Cost Analysis Agency), in addition to project customers
- Provide objective cost/financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to customers
- Participate in and/or lead collaborative working groups among a variety of government and industry organizations
- Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA)
- Independent Cost Estimates (ICE)
- Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
- Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
- Life Cycle Cost Estimates
- Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Analysis
- Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD)
- Acquisition Milestone Support
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- Twelve (12) years of experience conducting cost analysis, financial management, execution, tracking, and program analysis
- Knowledge/Experience using various cost estimating software tools (i.e. ACEIT and Crystal Ball)
- Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst
- Advanced Excel skills
- 10% potential travel
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or ability obtain one
- MBA or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Cost Estimating, Operations Research or related discipline
- PPBE Experience
- DAWIA Certified Financial Management/Contract Management
- Certified Defense Financial Manager
