The Lot Attendant also assists drivers and maintenance staff with light tasks that support daily operational readiness.
Vehicle Management
- Move, park, and stage vehicles in designated areas according to company layout.
- Ensure vehicles are lined up neatly, accessible, and ready for dispatch.
- Record vehicle locations and update tracking logs as required.
- Assist with fueling, checking fluid levels, and performing basic upkeep tasks.
- Keep the lot clean, free of debris, snow, or hazards.
- Maintain signage, cones, barriers, and designated parking zones.
- Report safety concerns, vehicle damage, or hazards immediately to management.
- Assist with organizing tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Perform light cleaning such as sweeping, wiping down interiors, and removing trash.
- Conduct walk-around inspections to identify cosmetic or safety issues.
- Install/remove decals, plates, and equipment under supervision.
- Assist mechanics and drivers with vehicle positioning, jump starts, or simple tasks.
- Support fleet check-in/check-out procedures, including mileage and condition documentation.
- Maintain accurate records related to vehicle movement and lot organization.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive various vehicle types and sizes safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Safe and cautious driving habits.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
