Job Summary
- Monitors transport clients, ensures adherence to safety rules, and assists passengers in boarding or exiting, as necessary.
- Assist students while boarding and exiting the bus safely
- Ensure students are seated and properly secured with seat belts or safety restraints as required
- Maintain order and promote positive behavior on the bus
- Assist the driver in monitoring student conduct and reporting any concerns
- Support students with special needs, including operating lifts or securing mobility devices
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and the bus driver
- Follow company safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Assist with evacuations in case of emergency
- Perform daily checks to ensure bus safety equipment is operational
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with a few months to 1 year of related experience
