Job Summary

• Monitors transport clients, ensures adherence to safety rules, and assists passengers in boarding or exiting, as necessary.

General Accountabilities

• Assist students while boarding and exiting the bus safely
• Ensure students are seated and properly secured with seat belts or safety restraints as required
• Maintain order and promote positive behavior on the bus
• Assist the driver in monitoring student conduct and reporting any concerns
• Support students with special needs, including operating lifts or securing mobility devices
• Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and the bus driver
• Follow company safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Assist with evacuations in case of emergency
• Perform daily checks to ensure bus safety equipment is operational

Job Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with a few months to 1 year of related experience
