Position Overview:
Ser Familia is seeking a Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership and regulatory
oversight for its Drug Abuse Treatment and Education Program (DATEP). This role ensures high quality,
person-centered, recovery-oriented care and full compliance with Georgia DATEP, DBHDD, DCH, CARF
and related standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all DATEP clinical services and staff.
Support a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented model of care for the
individuals and families we serve.
Strengthen staff practice through supervision, coaching, quality improvement, and clinical
consultation.
Ensure assessments, admissions, individualized treatment plans, progress documentation, and
discharge planning are completed accurately and on time.
Review charts, monitor documentation quality, and ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA,
and other applicable confidentiality standards.
Lead quality assurance and performance improvement efforts, including chart reviews, outcome
monitoring, incident review, and corrective action planning.
Support readiness for audits, site visits, licensing reviews, and other monitoring activities.
Collaborate with executive leadership, compliance, and operations staff to strengthen workflows,
policies, and program performance.
Provided direct clinical services to clients as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet one of the qualification pathways permitted under Georgia Rule 111-8-19-.10:
Licensed practitioner authorized under Georgia law to provide treatment, therapeutic advice, or
counseling for substance use disorders, such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
2 to 5 years of experience in substance use disorder treatment.
Experience in outpatient or community-based behavioral health settings preferred.
Knowledge of ASAM criteria and evidence-based treatment practices.
Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision, staff development, and program oversight.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
