Overview
We are seeking an HR Generalist to be a key partner in supporting both office and field staff across the organization. This hands-on, people-centered role works closely with the HR Manager to manage daily HR operations, contribute to company-wide initiatives, and foster a positive and inclusive employee experience. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment and are passionate about cultivating a strong, engaged workforce. This is an exempt position and reports to the HR Manager. It is based out of our Redmond, WA headquarters and is a fully in-office role. Our office is open from 6am-5pm; team members have flexibility with their daily work schedule, based on their needs and the needs of their team and the work.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource and first point of contact for HR-related questions, policies, and procedures
- Assist HR Manager in employee relations issues and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Maintain and update HRIS records and ensure data accuracy for reporting and compliance
- Support benefits administration through the year, co-managing the annual open enrollment process in partnership with the HR manager, troubleshooting benefits-related issues with WPAS and PSEW
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for both field and office employees, coordinate orientation schedule of office employees and facilitate new hire integration
- Administer Washington Paid Family & Medical Leave (WAPFML) and other leaves of absence programs
- Manage unemployment claims, shared work and standby programs
- Plan and coordinate employee recognition initiatives, engagement activities, and company events, serving as an active member of the community engagement committee
- Create and distribute company communications, including posters, PowerPoint content, and “Wired” newsletters Manage the annual internship program, including scheduling, coordinating debriefs and rotation planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4 years as an HR Generalist or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Sharepoint, Spectrum, Trimble) Experience with Microsoft Office

Compensation
Base Salary Range: $82,000 - 120,000
Salary range reflects both HR Generalist and Senior HR Generalist levels; final offer will depend on experience and qualifications.
In addition, employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
