We’re seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
What You'll Do:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:
- Assist chairside during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, surgical, implant, and cosmetic dentistry.
- Prepare, set up, and break down treatment rooms to maintain a clean, welcoming, and fully stocked environment.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to strict infection control protocols.
- Manage lab cases: check them in, communicate with labs, and ensure cases are ready in advance of patient appointments.
- Take accurate digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed.
- Anticipate dentist and hygienist needs during procedures to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain supply inventory, monitor stock levels, and communicate before placing orders.
- Accurately chart treatment notes and patient data into Eaglesoft (our practice management software).
- Ensure next-day trays and setups are prepped in advance.
- Review schedules to confirm all necessary materials, instruments, and lab work are ready.
- Provide clear pre-op and post-op instructions to patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
- Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish to create comfort and trust.
- Monitor equipment and promptly report any issues to the office manager.
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to maintaining a positive, efficient workflow.
- Support sterilization area and rotation of instruments throughout the day.
- Assist in training new assistants as the practice grows.
