Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Kennel Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing daily care, comfort, and cleanliness for the animals in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Feed, water, and monitor animals in our care
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Provide exercise and enrichment for animals as directed
- Observe animal behavior and report any concerns to staff
- Assist with laundry, dishes, and general facility upkeep
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, bending)
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals is a plus, but not required
