About the Employer The Sequoia Union High School District (SUHSD) serves more than 9,000 students in grades 9 through 12 from multiple diverse communities in the mid-Peninsula region between San Francisco and San Jose. Degree Valid California Credential Education Instruction Specialist - Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing A completed EdJoin application An up-to-date resume Three letters of recommendation (no more than two years old) Please include one reference who was/is an administrator in a supervisory role for you Official transcripts of degrees CBEST/CSET/PRAXIS/RICA (all that apply) Letter of introduction that speaks to the candidate’s equitable practices by addressing the following prompts: Describe your skills and experience related to the position for which you are applying that makes you an ideal candidate who can foster consistent excellence in student outcomes and engage and prepare all students to excel in a global society. Ensuring equity in education is a necessary component in narrowing the achievement gap. Educators are responsible for ensuring equity by recognizing, respecting, and attending to the diverse strengths and challenges of the students they serve. Explain how you would implement an equitable environment for students in the position for which you are applying.
