Job Requirements
Minimum:
- Must have completed a formal Sonography course or have completed four years of progressively responsible experience in an ultrasound department (such experience must have been within the last five years).
- Completion of annual safety training. Completes and maintains required unit specific training.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonographers (RDMS) or RDCS or RVT in at least one field of specialization (i.e. Echocardiography/Doppler, Abdominal or OB/Gyn) or eligibility for certification and must achieve certification within one year of eligibility.
- (CT ARDMS)
- Current Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required. (CT CPRBLS)
