Pay Range
$34.36 - $42.23 /hour

- Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate. Screens individuals by requesting to see identification or visitor pass.
- Operates, cleans and maintains storage areas and equipment
- Collects, receives, sorts, cleans, decontaminates and issues equipment to user departments
- Picks supplies for user departments as directed.
- Properly rotates medical supplies, checks for physical damage, dust, moisture and expiration dates on all medical supplies and devices. Handles all supplies using aseptic or sterile technique
- Routinely performs assigned duties on assembling procedure carts correctly by checking par-levels, replenishing stock, issuing, distribution of IV solutions, disposable procedure trays and other medical supplies which reside in clinical areas of the Facility
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate or GED
- One year of storeroom or shipping experience or CSR distribution experience required; however, the experience requirement is waived for individuals who have completed a Central Services Technician (CST) externship at Sequoia Hospital.
- Familiarity with various Materials Management systems.
- Basic computer skills. i.e. Data entry, e-mail, and handhelds.
- Complete annual safety training.
- Complete and maintain department specific training.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of linen principles.
