Summary of the position
We are seeking a Wealth Advisor with 5 years of client facing comprehensive wealth planning experience to join the team within Sequoia dedicated to the Eide Bailly relationship. This is a full-time, in-person position located at the Eide Bailly/Sequoia office in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building comprehensive financial plans, either individually or as part of a team, and executing on all aspects of a client’s plan. This position requires a high level of technical ability, attention to detail, teamwork, and follow-through.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day aspects of client engagements as a member of a team.
- Identify and recommend appropriate asset management, financial and estate planning advice to deliver a great client experience.
- Proactively maintain client relationships through excellent client service.
- Assist with or lead in the collection of financial planning data from prospective clients.
- Assist or lead in the creation of asset management reports to be delivered to clients (the advisor may play a lead or support role in delivering these reports).
- Display professional communication skills with responses to clients, advisors, and team members by phone, email, and written communications.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client relationships.
- Coordinate with our external and internal team members to follow up on and execute advice items in a timely manner.
- Utilize Salesforce for documentation and processing of client data, tasks, financial accounts and policy adherence
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation of meeting materials, including agendas, planning analyses, and investment materials.
- Manage meeting follow up, including coordination of internal and external resources; responsible for making sure client objectives are completed.
- Complete client meeting notes and follow up tasks as required.
- Coordinate the execution of trade orders with the Asset Management Department (AMD)
- Develop a deeper technical expertise in general financial knowledge.
- Identify additional planning or asset management opportunities in existing client relationships.
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
- One or more professional credentials such as CFP, CPA ( tax focus), CFA, JD (with business, tax, and estate planning focus), etc.
- Active Series 7 & 66 or Series 65.
- Technical knowledge of all aspects of comprehensive financial planning including cash management, income tax planning, insurance, education planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management.
- Previous experience working with financial planning software and planning deliverables.
- Competence using Microsoft Office applications and Client Relationship Management system such as Salesforce.
- Experience with eMoney required.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience with Holistiplan planning software.
- Familiarity with the Fidelity and Schwab investment platforms.

Working Conditions:
Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, prolonged periods working on a computer, standing and walking is required for this role. Depending on location, occasional moving and lifting light equipment and/or furniture may be required. This role may require occasional travel, including travel to client sites, company offices, or industry events, as needed.

Salary Range:
The good-faith salary range for this position is $125,000-175,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location. In addition to base pay, Sequoia offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package featuring discretionary bonus opportunities, 401(k) match, medical, dental and vision coverage.
