Job Description:
Sequoia is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to elevate our brand recognition and help boost our financial growth. This is an exciting opportunity to create action plans and sales strategies that will help us reach our growth initiatives, including client acquisition and client optimization. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for telephone, email, and social media-based prospecting; qualifying and processing marketing leads for the regional Business Development Leads; and generating summarized reports of their key findings. This individual will be an enthusiastic team player with exceptional communication skills able to navigate selling hurdles, understand different buying personas, position, and communicate the value of Sequoia, and persuade new business prospects to learn more.
Responsibilities:
•Support the generation of content-based campaigns which establish effective messaging to support consultative selling
•Identify and contact prospects via email, telephone and other social media channels using proven inside sales approaches
•Assist in securing qualified meetings with potential clients leveraging content-based marketing campaigns and our workforce of leading subject matter experts
•Identify key contacts and decision makers in targeted accounts
•Uncover prospective business needs, while understanding business challenges
•Generate new opportunities as qualified leads, track via HubSpot, and update regional Business Development Leads
•Maintain and update HubSpot, ensuring accuracy of activity log and pipeline
•Convey summarized findings to the Business Development team to aid in refreshing our market position
Skills and Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent job-related experience preferred
•Minimum of 3-years’ successful experience working in lead generation or sales roles in the life sciences space
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to build a genuine rapport with prospects in non in-person settings
•Ability to come up to speed quickly and manage multiple projects / priorities
•Driven / resourceful to find winning approaches to effectively deliver messages to prospective customers that resonate
•Ability to comprehend and communicate scientific and engineering verbiage and concepts
•Excellent interpersonal skills
