As a Geotechnical Driller Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in exploring subsurface conditions that shape everything from buildings to infrastructure. This is not a desk job; it’s an opportunity to work outdoors, travel to diverse sites, and be part of a team that quite literally digs deeper to find answers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and operating drilling equipment to investigate subsurface conditions.
• Support the extraction and handling of soil and rock samples that inform engineering decisions.
• Prepare and organize tools, drill rods, and materials for daily operations.
• Help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-managed drill site.
• Observe and learn drilling techniques, contributing to accurate and reliable field data.
• Perform routine equipment care and assist in troubleshooting basic mechanical issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in hands-on, outdoor work and learning technical field skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and curiosity about how things work.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Willingness to travel, adapt to changing environments, and work extended hours when needed.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and eager to grow.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in construction, drilling, or field-based work environments.
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, or mechanical systems.

Working Conditions:

• Physically active role requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Work takes place outdoors in varied terrain and weather conditions.
