Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and operating drilling equipment to investigate subsurface conditions.
- Support the extraction and handling of soil and rock samples that inform engineering decisions.
- Prepare and organize tools, drill rods, and materials for daily operations.
- Help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-managed drill site.
- Observe and learn drilling techniques, contributing to accurate and reliable field data.
- Perform routine equipment care and assist in troubleshooting basic mechanical issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Interest in hands-on, outdoor work and learning technical field skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and curiosity about how things work.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
- Willingness to travel, adapt to changing environments, and work extended hours when needed.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and eager to grow.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in construction, drilling, or field-based work environments.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, or mechanical systems.
