SUMMARY:
Accounts Receivable provides financial, administrative and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collection of past due including setting credit limits and opening and closing Accounts
· Process all new Credit Applications
· Verify credit references
· Order Personal Report from Experian
· Log Progress and results of each Application
· Build and set up approved new accounts send Welcome Letter
· Send Denial Letters
· Record on Spreadsheet
· Post A/R Payments
· Prepare A/R Banking Deposit
· Answer incoming calls for Invoice Requests, Balances, application of payments, etc.
· Update all changes in A/R accounts to include, address, telephone, authorization to charge
· Select and request prelims via invoice 20% email to CNS for processing, knowledge of Ca Lien Laws.
· Process Liens and Intent to liens
· Process Releases for customers as warranted.
· Print and mail invoices weekly on Mondays
· Print and Mail Statements 1st of each month
· Maintain up to date legal credit forms
· File correspondence in customer files
· Liaison to established outside council for assigned accounts
· Prepare and mail credit package to lawyers for assigned accounts
· Prepare monthly collection progress report for management
· Record conversations with customers in Tickler
· Break down daily cash sales and prepare bank deposits
· Process all NSF check returns and record in outlook
· Responsible for all NSF items
· Record progress in Outlook File
· Send NSF letters to uncollectible NSF checks
· Data Entry
· General Office Duties as necessary
· Answer Phones
· Monthly Rollover except for weekends.
· Record LP expenses in Bank Deposit entry (4.26)
· Process and clear all-in store purchases
· Post Trucks & Stock Transfers
· Reconcile Stock Transfer Statements
· Check Truck Work Orders over $1K
· Email GDA updates weekly
· Download cybersource daily and reconcile
· Check other locations banking daily
· Assist with handling of any accidents
· Process payment agreements for past due customers
· Order & maintain office supplies
· Send old AR files to storage
· Process contract username & payments on SBM website
· Assist at the annual SBM Golf Tournament
· Check other location deposits to ensure accuracy
