What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Service Technician / Installer position at September Signs & Graphics LLC?
September Signs is a well-established sign company in Wilmington, NC and is seeking a sign Service Tech/Installer. This is an entry level position and a great opportunity for a team player with good communication skills.
This is an entry level position, we will train.
Position would consist of installing and servicing all types of interior and exterior internally illuminated and non-illuminated signs.
Candidate must be comfortable working with heights from ladders, lifts and bucket trucks.
Monday - Thursday 7:00-4:30, Fridays 7:00-11:00, some overtime required.
Experience in the following is not required but preferred:
- Power & hand tools. Must supply own hand tools.
- Basic Metal Fabrication
- Paint and Patch work
- Ladders
- Light and Heavy Equipment operation and trailers
- Basic building/construction knowledge
- Light Electrical Knowledge
- Load and secure product for site transportation
- Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory
- Professional customer interaction and some sales is required
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record and pass a drug test.
We are a drug and smoke free office.
Paid holidays after 6 months and paid vacation after 1 year.
