Role Description

The Asset Protection Specialist is a full-time, on-site position located in Honolulu, HI. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company assets, employees, and customers. Daily tasks include monitoring surveillance systems, implementing loss prevention strategies, conducting investigations, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with store management to address security concerns. You will work in adherence to company policies to prevent and reduce shrinkage while promoting a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address security risks effectively.
• Excellent observation and surveillance skills, with the ability to detect unusual activities or behaviors.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and law enforcement.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques, safety practices, and applicable laws is an asset.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, ensuring safe resolution of incidents.
• Previous experience in retail, security, or asset protection is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in security or related fields are a plus.
