Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls, specialty rolls, and other Japanese dishes.
- Prepare sushi rice, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients daily.
- Ensure food quality, freshness, consistency, and presentation meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Follow all food safety and health department regulations.
- Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
- Minimize food waste and maintain portion control.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner service.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sushi chef experience preferred.
- Strong knife skills and seafood handling experience.
- Experience preparing sushi rice and a variety of sushi rolls.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
