We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities Technician to join our team at an automotive interior parts manufacturing plant.

Position Summary

The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, safety, and upkeep of facility infrastructure and equipment. This role supports production and operational efficiency by managing recycling and disposal processes of resin, conducting equipment maintenance, and performing facility repairs.

This position directly reports to General Affairs department.

Key Responsibilities

• Resin Process Support
  • Manage the recycling, reuse, and disposal of defective parts from the resin process.
  • Effectively manage the Crusher room operation process.
  • Immediately alert management when an issue arises.
  • Ensure all material handling complies with environmental, safety, and company standards.
• Dock Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on loading dock doors, dock levelers, and dock locks.
  • Respond promptly to downtime or operational issues impacting shipping/receiving areas.
• Material Handling Equipment
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair of forklifts, tuggers, and related equipment.
  • Track and document maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Facility Upkeep
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility systems when possible, including but not limited to:
    • Walls, doors, and general structural elements
    • Restroom fixtures (sinks, toilets, etc.)
    • Lighting and electrical fixtures
    • Basic equipment and furniture
  • Escalate larger or specialized issues to external contractors when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety standards and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform manual labor tasks.
• Comfortable working in warehouse, production, and outdoor environments.
• Standing, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods.
