Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally
- Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in serving in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or nightclub is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability is preferred
