What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Tech I position at SEOLTA HOLDINGS LLC?
Position: Final Assembly (Open Hull- Mechanical Plumbing, Final Assembly, Electricians)
Seolta Holdings, LLC (Proud Builders of MJM Yachts) is currently hiring for the following sub-departments in our Assembly department:
-Final Assembly (Electricians )
-Open Hull
General Description for all positions in Assembly
1) Assembles fiberglass hulls, decks, and small parts, purchased parts, and pre-assembled components into a completed boat.
2) Installs decks, hardware components, bilge systems, water, hydraulic and fuel fittings, hoses, tanks, and connections.
3) Performs electrical assembly of consoles, installs, and connects electrical wiring and components.
4) Installs major subassemblies such as dash and hardtop modules, windshields, seating/upholstery, etc
5) Uses a variety of hand power/air tools, saws, grinders, and other tools as necessary.
6) Locating parts by hand or utilizing detailed blueprints, standard work, tools, and/or fixtures.
7) Works following specific job instructions, specifications, technical work documents, blueprints, frequently reading, and providing verbal and/or written status of part completion/installation.
8) Must be proficient in handling and application of sealants, adhesives, and primers, along with proper disposal.
9) Must possess knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to perform a full range of rigging duties, considering factors such as size, shape, and location of the object, availability and strength of overhead support structures
HOURS: Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm
