Duties:
Plan, schedule and execute multiple jobs at the same time with multiple crews.
Understand, learn and teach skills and techniques required to complete work successfully.
Ensure work is done efficiently with a high level of quality, and with safety as a top priority.
Complete time sheets, accident reports, work orders and other company and client paperwork as required.
Manage the use of equipment and machinery.
Have a good attitude and be willing to learn.
Accountabilities:
Weekly and daily expectations for individual crews - Kick off job on-site (scope, timing, etc.) –
Communicate start time and location - Start of day for crews (evening before texts, 7am start-ups) –
Ensures teams have the proper tools and knowledge to be successful (educate/train) –
Time sheet approval
Employee hiring, quarterly reviews, discipline, training, and general work assignments
Signal to invoice jobs to Operations Manager
Qualifications:

- Experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings.
- Experience erecting and installing metal/steel beams and structures.
- Hoist steel beams, girders, and columns into place, using cranes, or signal hoisting equipment operators to lift and position structural-steel members.
- Fabricate metal parts such as steel frames, columns, beams, and girders, according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, project specifications and scopes of work
Ability to drive a company vehicle
Ability to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and work in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team.- Must be comfortable with aerial work and heights 50-100 feet (must not be afraid of heights)
- OSHA 10
- 5 years of metal building construction or related
Crew Requirements:
Required to work long hours in sometimes adverse weather conditions
Physical Demands:
Routinely sitting, walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling (ability to climb stairs, ladders, and roof ladders regularly), as well as working at heights
Ability to lift at least (50) pounds
Working near moving mechanical parts; near noise routinely, and exposed to outdoor elements
