What You’ll Do
Our Sales Representatives quote, sell, and service our insurance policies. To do this, you will…
- Quote and sell insurance products to new and current customers.
- Advise customers on appropriate insurance coverage and options relative to their needs, explaining coverages and payment options as needed.
- Take payments for insurance policies.
- Provide customer service to in an in-person environment, as well as over the phone.
- Services existing customer policies including policy changes when customer service is not available.
- Perform local marketing in and around the Lafayette area to increase business.
- Maintain the storefront, opening and closing location daily.
- Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty producer's license.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- 1 year of related work experience
- Bilingual in both Spanish and English is highly preferred
- Possess a thorough understanding of company guidelines with the ability to communicate guidelines to customers and employees.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office applications.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task with speed and accuracy.
