Assistant Project Manager – Join Our Growing Team Primary Objective

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will actively contribute to project success by supporting the Project Manager with essential administrative and operational tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects stay on track, remain within budget, and run smoothly from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that directly impact the efficiency and success of our projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Project Manager with standard workflows and delegated tasks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Managing project documentation, including invoices, schedules, budgets, and reports, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Preparing detailed and precise cost estimates for clients, covering labor, materials, and equipment costs to support budget planning.
  • Monitoring project budgets and regularly providing status reports to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery of materials, avoiding delays and disruptions.
  • Conducting project site visits to track progress, address potential issues, and facilitate seamless communication with clients.
  • Tracking project performance by leveraging reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and essential project metrics.
  • Keeping the Project Manager informed on project updates, potential roadblocks, and critical action items to maintain project momentum.
Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills to ensure success in this role:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members, vendors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with project management software is a plus.
  • Previous experience in construction, engineering, or project management is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive mindset, anticipating needs before they become challenges.
