Baker - Library Cafe (Full-Time)

At the Inn at SentryWorld, we focus on the guest experience. Our property provides an upscale experience with authentic Wisconsin charm. We’re looking for an experienced Baker who’ll join the team and help deliver on our bakery concept. You’ll assist in the preparation of all bakery items, including breads, pastries, and other menu items served at The Inn. This position could be filled as Part-time or Full-time with current scheduled hours from 3:00am to 11:00am CST and varying days depending on business needs Based on experience and qualifications, the pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 hourly. What You’ll Do As a Baker, you will: Prepare, bake, & decorate from scratch breads, bars, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, pastries, and specialty chocolate confectionaries for our guests Maintain cleanliness of equipment, cases, and counter ensuring all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are met Collaborate with the Hotel Chef & Beverage Manager and back of house team on bakery preparation and execution for special functions to ensure exceptional service is provided What it Takes Technical Degree or equivalent work experience Degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts preferred Minimum 1 year of related work experience, pastry cooking or pastry chef experience with high volume food production Experience with from scratch baking preferred Ability to employ math skills when following recipes and menu specifications Strong listening, communication, and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to multi-task and problem solve Ability to work flexible scheduling including early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed Additional hours may be needed beyond the normally scheduled hours to prepare for banquets/special functions What You’ll Receive At Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
