What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge - Part Time - Downtown Orlando position at Sentry Management?

We have an immediate opening for a helpful individual to join our dynamic condominium management team at a part-time capacity!  This would be an ideal position for a college student or retired individual looking to meet interesting people and work approximately 13-20 hours a week.  

The regular shifts scheduled are: 

  • Monday - Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
  • Saturday/Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday/Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Occasional weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on holidays and days the full time Concierge Director needs to take off for doctor’s appointments, vacation, etc.

Since we employ three individuals to cover the regular 9 shifts described above, we look to rotate approximately 1 weekend off per month for each part time employee.  Occasional weekday Holidays, like Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, etc. will need coverage from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and we look to rotate that coverage too!

This is a customer-forward, inclusive service position so being naturally outgoing and exceptionally friendly is a must!  We strive to create an uplifting atmosphere and impact people’s day for the better with every interaction.  We receive many packages so you will need to be able to occasionally lift 20-pound packages and push a shopping cart laden with parcels around the property to deliver to our lovely residents and their dogs!  

Professional business attire and reliable attendance is expected.  Must be able to work independently while logging interactions and recording communications to act as liaison between residents, vendors and management.  Complete various secretarial projects and special tasks assigned by management, as needed.  Provide clear phone and email dialogue, and have basic computer knowledge.
