What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer (2180) position at Sentry Force Security LLC?
Sentry Force Security is seeking reliable and experienced Armed Security Officers for a local Housing Authority contract. Selected individuals will provide general security inside residential buildings and conduct occasional exterior foot patrols, once every hour. The pay for this position is $20 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have an active Armed VA DCJS license to be considered.
- Two years previous experience in security, law enforcement, corrections, or active duty military is required.
- First Aid and CPR/AED certified
- Must be capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy required for report submissions and CCTV monitoring
