Duties
- Install and replace vinyl, fiber cement, wood, and composite siding systems on residential
- Assist with removal and disposal of existing siding, trim, soffit, and fascia materials
- Measure, cut, and fit siding materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Install exterior trim, soffit, fascia, flashing, house wrap, and weatherproofing materials
- Read blueprints, job specifications, and project layouts to complete work efficiently and accurately
- Operate ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and other construction equipment safely on job sites
- Perform caulking, sealing, and finishing work to ensure weather resistance and clean appearance
- Conduct job site cleanup and maintain safe, organized work areas throughout projects
- Assist with exterior repairs, framing adjustments, and other remodeling tasks as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and construction site regulations
Skills
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for exterior construction and siding installation
- Knowledge of siding systems, trim work, soffit, fascia, and weather barrier installation
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and construction drawings accurately
- Familiarity with vinyl siding, fiber cement products, cedar shake, and exterior finishing techniques
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and scaffolding in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and proper tool handling
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding labor throughout the workday
- Attention to detail and ability to produce clean, professional exterior finishes
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
