Laminate Flooring Installer / Flooring Crew
Job Location: Knoxville, IL
Sentri Homes is a nationwide residential construction company looking for experienced flooring installers to complete residential flooring projects. We work with independent contractors on a project-by-project basis, and crews who consistently deliver quality workmanship become our preferred partners for recurring projects across the country.
SCOPE OF WORK
This project consists of approximately 365 square feet of flooring in a residential living room.
Responsibilities include:
- Remove the existing stained plywood finish flooring.
- Inspect and prepare the exposed subfloor for laminate installation.
- Remove or set protruding nails and fasteners.
- Repair minor subfloor imperfections and perform floor leveling as needed to meet laminate manufacturer requirements.
- Install a vapor barrier.
- Install laminate flooring according to the manufacturer's installation instructions.
- Remove and reinstall existing baseboards and trim.
- Return furniture to its original general location upon completion.
- Clean the work area and remove all project-related debris.

- Residential occupied home.
- Living room only.
- Approximately 365 square feet.
- Start date: August 4,2026
- Installer must verify the flooring product, installation requirements, and subfloor preparation before installation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of flooring installation experience.
- Experience installing laminate flooring and preparing subfloors.
- Ability to perform floor leveling and minor subfloor repairs.
- Must provide all tools required to complete the installation.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to remove and dispose of all project debris.
- Must take before, during, and after photos of the project.
- Must perform work in accordance with manufacturer installation guidelines and industry best practices.
PAY
Pay : $900.00
Payment is issued on a Net 7-day schedule after project completion and approval.
