What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Specialist position at Sentinel Wealth Advisory Group?
About SWAG
At SWAG, Sentinel Wealth Advisory Group, we believe that exceptional wealth management is built on relationships, not transactions. Our clients trust us with what matters most to them, and we take that responsibility seriously. We operate as one team with one voice — every client, every interaction; every detail reflects the same standard of care and professionalism that defines who we are.
We're growing, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of a team that does this work the right way.
The Role
As a Client Service Specialist in our Diamond Bar office, you'll be the operational backbone of an advisor pod — a small, close-knit team that manages deep relationships with a dedicated group of clients. Your work keeps the client experience seamless and ensures our advisors can focus on the advice and planning that changes people's lives. Day to day, you'll be handling client communications, processing account paperwork and service requests, maintaining accurate client records, coordinating meetings and follow-ups, and generally making sure nothing falls through the cracks. The details are the job — and the right person will take pride in getting them right every time.
Who You Are
You are a natural people person who communicates with warmth and professionalism. Clients feel at ease when they talk to you. You are highly organized and take satisfaction in running a clean process. You notice what needs to be done before being asked. You are coachable, curious, and genuinely interested in learning the wealth management business. You care about the quality of your work and the people you serve. You don't need to come in with deep financial industry knowledge — we'll teach you what you need to know. What we can't teach is the service mindset and the care for people that this role requires.
Qualifications
0–2 years of professional experience, ideally in financial services, client service, or a professional services environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with solid organizational habits. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. A Series 7 or 66 license is a plus but not required.
Why SWAG
You'll be part of a collaborative, high-standards team that invests in its people. We have a clear career path — many of our associate advisors started exactly where this role begins. If you want to build a career in wealth management with a firm that takes its culture and its clients seriously, this is the right place to start.
Compensation: $55,000–$60,000 base salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
