Are you interested in a career in Real Estate Investment Management? Sentinel Real Estate’s Summer Internship Program is an immersive experience with hands-on learning and training. You will gain exposure to all facets of real estate investment management, including Asset Management and Property Operations, Portfolio Management, Acquisitions & Divestitures, Financial Operations, Human Resources, Sustainability Initiatives, Capital Raising, Compliance and Marketing.

The Sentinel Summer Internship Program is a 10-week experiential opportunity in which you will discover new skills and talents in a practical work setting, while applying the skills you have already developed through school and experience. Through daily work experience, intern events, projects and lunch and learn series, you will gain connections at all levels of the company and learn about a variety of facets of our business.
The Sentinel Summer Internship Program will run from June 2, 2026 – August6, 2026. You must be a rising Junior or Senior in a four-year college or university to be considered and expressed interest in real estate.
What You’ll Do:
As an intern, you will be placed in one of the following departments based on your interest and skillset: Acquisitions & Dispositions, Portfolio Management, Human Resources and Asset Management.
As an intern, you will:
- Learn how we communicate the firm’s product offerings, investment philosophy, processes and resources to strategically position the firm to investors and consultants.
- Understand how the firm's vertically integrated platform operates.
- Help with special projects that provide practical and educational experiences.
- Learn business tools and software.
- Attend meetings.
- Complete in-house training programs.
About You:
- Curiosity and a desire to learn about the Real Estate Industry as well as keen interest in exploring capital raising.
- Outgoing, self-motivated.
- Quantitative background that demonstrates analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and capability to articulate complex topics.
- Preferred major: Real Estate, Finance. For Human Resources placement: Business, Psychology or related.
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in College or University and available to work 4 days in NYC office.
