Role Description
This is a full and part-time positions, on-site role for an Armed Security Guard based in Charlotte, and Concord, NC. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for securing premises, conducting routine patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, verifying access, and ensuring the overall safety of clients and property. Additional responsibilities include responding to security breaches, assisting in emergency situations, and providing detailed incident reports.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in security protocols, surveillance monitoring, and patrol operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to de-escalate situations professionally
- Ability to maintain detailed records and produce concise incident reports
- Experience or certification in self-defense, firearm handling, and safety practices
- Knowledge of security systems and emergency response procedures
- Physical fitness and ability to remain alert and responsive during shifts
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent; security or law enforcement training preferred
- Must have an active security guard license and firearm permit in accordance with local and state regulations
- Past experience in law enforcement, military, or professional security services is a plus
