Sentara Health is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist for the HR Solutions Team. This position is full-time, remote.

In this position, you will deliver service in a professional and efficient manner, providing prompt assistance while managing expectations to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. Provide real-time, accurate, and comprehensive responses to telephone and written inquiries regarding general HR-related issues, policies, procedures, and processes. Escalate complex issues, where applicable. Process employee-related transactions accurately based on research, employee-specific information, and process guidelines. Maintain appropriate documentation and records for HR-related cases in the HR Help Desk. Support the continuing transformation of HR via HR process implementation and the continuous technological improvements in Workday. Develop, deploy and execute solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Provide effective application and interpretation of company policies and procedures. Ensure consistent, equal, and fair treatment of all employees. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Human Resources or a related field or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- 3 years of related HR experience.
- An understanding of HR principles, policies, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge and experience with the recruitment and hiring processes from ATS to HR platform.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare license, certifications, and registries.
- Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and data integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with HR team members to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout processes.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- 4 -6 years related work experience or relevant military experience.
- 4 years of experience in Human Resources
- 4 years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
- Experience as an HRG working with multiple functions

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: $24.04/hr to $35.60/hr.
