Sentara Norfolk General is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the High-Risk Labor and Delivery Unit.
This is a rotating shift position, 36 hours per week.
Preferred applicants will have experience specifically in Labor and Delivery.
At Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, home to the region’s Level I Trauma Center and the Maternal Transfer Center for Hampton Roads, our Beacon award-winning Labor and Delivery Unit offers a fast-paced, high-acuity, and rewarding practice. Our nurses are cross trained to scrub, circulate, recover, and labor/deliver, providing comprehensive surgical and obstetrical care. Supported by a collaborative team of physicians, resident physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, surgical techs, and administrative staff, we deliver seamless, patient-centered care. Position Available
- Full Time, 36 hours per week
Education
- RN-Associate’s Degree
- RN-Bachelor’s Degree
- RN-Master’s Degree
License / Certification
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- NRP within 6 months of hire.
- PALS within 6 months of hire.
Experience
- Previous L & D experience preferred
