Sentara Virginia General Hospital is hiring an experienced Sr. Laboratory Scientist to work full days (0630-1500) in the Clinical Lab in Blood Bank
Generous Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates!
As a Sr. Laboratory Scientist, duties are to perform laboratory testing and interpret test results using scientific knowledge and principles of test procedures and disease processes; recommends contingency testing. Directly responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing daily technical operations, including staff training and education, implementation of instrumentation, and accreditation readiness.

- Bachelor’s in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science (required)
- ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification (required)
- 3 year of laboratory experience (required)
