The Senior IT Specialist Analyst – Epic ClinDoc is responsible for the day-to-day support, optimization, and enhancement of clinical applications, with a primary focus on Epic Inpatient ClinDoc. This role partners closely with clinical stakeholders to analyze workflows, implement system improvements, and ensure optimal utilization of Epic applications to support patient care and operational efficiency.
The analyst will lead and support application builds, upgrades, and system enhancements, while evaluating software releases and recommending solutions that improve clinical workflows and reduce operational inefficiencies. This role requires strong expertise in Epic ClinDoc workflows and build.
The Senior IT Specialist Analyst works independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams to support integration efforts, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system stability. Responsibilities include workflow assessments, system testing, incident and change management, and coordination of application updates and releases. The role also provides on-call support and serves as a key resource for clinical application-related inquiries.
As a senior-level professional, this position applies advanced technical and clinical application knowledge, manages projects or project components, and provides guidance and mentorship to junior team members. The role plays a critical part in driving innovation, including the adoption of AI technologies and continuous improvement of clinical systems.

- Strong experience supporting Epic Inpatient ClinDoc, including build, optimization, and workflow configuration
- Experience with application support, upgrades, testing, and system enhancements in a healthcare environment
- Proven ability to perform workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder collaboration
- Experience managing incident, problem, and change management processes
- Ability to support cross-functional integration efforts and provide on-call support in a production environment
